Studio Friday: Sketchbooks, Notebooks...
These are sketchbooks that I have bought two years ago, but I have only started drawing again 92 days ago, and 3 of them are already full of sketches by pencil and colored pencils. I am going back to water color slowly because it was a long time ago I did the last one and it is somewhere in my parents house. But I am also fascinated with digital drawing and a little obsessed, too!-that I sometimes start my drawing in my sketchpad and finished it with photoshop or painter.

Oooh so neat!! Looks similar to mine ;-) Mine have different covers as well. I, too love the one on the left with all the sailboats on it. So pretty!!
It's great to have a variety in sketchbooks. I love the one with the boats on, and the little grey one looks nice too. Inspiring.

thank you all. the sketchbooks with the sailingboats cover are on sale during that time and i bought two. my idea before was to give it away as a gift but i get to learn and love it as time goes by....

I do things backwards I think. Often I start a sketch in Photoshop and then transfer my idea by hand to a sketch book. Your large book with earthy tones looks really intriguing.
Welcome back to drawing. Great collection of sketchbooks. I really like the one with the harbor scene. That has inspired me to do a similiar sketch.
