A day of prayer

First of all I wanted to say that my prayers goes to the the families of the people who died in the shooting today that happened at Sandy Hook School in Connecticut, U.S.A.

Secondly, I really wanted to share that I went to my second Christmas Dinner today, and it was cozy and nice and peaceful. We are 30 people all in all and there were lots of really good food to eat and drink. Henriette, the organizer(She is a physiotherapist) was so beautiful and even wearing her snowman earrings. Some of the attendees are some guys from my walking group every Tuesday and one of them(Kim) even sang a Christmas song. I will not forget this day because the people and the place have been instrumental to the changes in my life this year. My first Christmas dinner happened last Wednesday in a gourmet restaurant together with15 other people and the dinner was really superb.

Let is snow let it snow

Yesterday the 9th of December, I went to church with Stef and it was a great service. Pastor Michael's talk was really good, and it was about the key to true joy is knowing that we are loved by Jesus Christ.  There was a snowstorm but it did not stopped us to visit the National Museum after the church's service. Stef have not been there, and we thought there were not much people but we were wrong because there are some tourists and locals, too. At home, we made dinner together and we really enjoyed eating waldorf salad and pork asado.
