"Giving chocolate to others is an intimate form of communication, a sharing of deep, dark secrets"Milton Zelman, publisher of "Chocolate News"
There are very few times I would buy chocolates for myself. It is a luxury already for me if I buy chocolates for self-indulgence especially the expensive ones. I only buy the expensive ones only if I have to give it as a birthday present and if the person(s) are truly especial to me. That is why, I am really very grateful and feeling so blessed everytime I receive chocolates like these ones in the picture. Ohhh but I have to be careful or remember thispost?

If there was a studio that has inspired me –it was my ex-husband’s studio. He is a professional photo journalist and the first time I laid eyes on his studio, I have thought about having the same one in the future. It is not so big and beautiful but it is quiet place and with all the proper light and dark atmosphere which is a must in taking pictures. This is just a part of the studio and is extended in where I have been standing when I took the picture. His dark room is outside this studio and his office is just on the door on the right. There is also a little balcony on the left. What has inspired me about his studio is the personal touch he puts on it and how professional he is in doing his job. Sometimes it is not the size or the looks of a studio that makes it really inspiring but all the different kinds of creations and creativity that are being produced and have been produced. That makes the difference.
"Most travelers content themselves with what they may chance to see from car-windows, hotel verandas, or the deck of a steamer...clinging to the battered highways like drowning sailors to a lifecraft." -John Muir(1838-1914)
I enjoy travelling. I learn a lot from travelling-going from one place to another, being a witness to a lot of activities, festive ocassions or just enjoying the silence of the sea and whispering of the waves.....
When I have decided to live in another country, I was lucky enough that I have already went around my homeland the Philippines. I really had a nice time exploring my country of birth and was able to discover a lot of new and different things. It is a big and beautiful country. We have lots of beautiful beaches, (some of them are still untouched-meaning are not really tourist areas) lots huge mountains that I thought I cannot climb and a wonderful combination of different cultures. One thing I also enjoy is discovering new recipes from every place I have been to. I have lots of pictures but, unfortunately I left many of them at our maternal home and some of them are in the basement right now. When I got married, I was lucky enough to have travelled with my ex-husband who is a journalist. I buy some little things when I travel but the ones I have bought are lying in a box in the basement , some of them-my ex-husband and myself have divided to ourselves. Here you can find in the picture, are some on display in my sala and, some pictures I have managed to find.
"When you are at sea you know you must reach harbor, to restock and hope, rest in a warm caress. You need ports and often can't wait to get to the next. Then when you are in port, you can't wait to get back to the sea again....You need mother earth, but you love the sea." -Steven Callahan B. 1952
"I have wandered all my life, and I have also travelled; the difference between the two being this, that we wander for distraction, but we travel for fulfillment" -Hilaire Belloc(1870-1953)
In my dream, I am dreaming like a dreamer....
everything is all about you and me and the world we live
in. It is not a perfect world and it's very difficult most of the time, but we manage to reach out, even see and experience things positively most of the time. Life passes us by so quickly, and every chance we get-we try harder to make it work- because life is beautiful and so were YOU and I.
