Incense

I love chocolates and yet, I cannot eat a lot at one time because, there was an incident that I have eaten so much and I had stomach pain and the pain comes back everytime I would eat a lot of it.

By the way, I like filling up my kitchen with chocolate smell of this incense.

Studio Friday: Rituals and wishes

It is a ritual for me to eat something before I start working on anything or I cannot work properly or I lose my concentration because I have to fetch something to eat. I made it a point not to eat and work at the same time or place any food beside what I am working on, because of an incident where I accidentally spilled my food on my artwork-clumsy me, really!
There is one food and drink that is heaven for me. It’s hot steamy fresh brocolli dipped in butter and fresh squezzed oranges-

If I could make a change in my studio?----it is my ardent wish to have one big room to share with my talented nieces and nephews from my homeland. If only I can have all of them at one point in my life and create art as much as we can at the same time. Sounds fun and it would really make me so happy and inspired.

The Window of the Soul

This is my yellow orchids that hasbeen given to me three years ago and it has never failed to make me smile and in giving me hope during times when I feel sad, when I miss my family in my homeland, when I feel tired or when I feel like I cannot pray.

Studio Friday; Purely white

There is a corner table in the hallway where I usually place my chess set but, when I am tired and I feel like playing chess by myself that I bring them wherever I feel like lying down at the same time or while I am doing something that needs some time intervals. You can find then either in my bed, beside my computer, on top of a canvass, in the kitchen table or my night table.

Thanks all for the get well wishes earlier -I really appreciate it. I hope I can visit all your sites when I get better.

I am home today because, my fever came back and I have not been sleeping well for over a week now because of my colds and cough. I have tried tea with honey, ginger with honey and cinnamon, I even gargled vinegar, have taken fishermans tablets, drank a lot of water but, it did not helped me. Finally, I decided to buy the meds today and stay home and rest.

My entry for this week at Studio Friday are colors that I really don't hate but, the colors that I don't usually choose for my clothes and very seldom that I use in my paintings. I am fair skinned and in my opinion, these colors doesn't fit my skin color.
