New banners for my 3 blogs
I have made new banners for my 3 blogs and the following were my thoughts about each of the illustrations I have made.
For-you and isay-is a drawing of our national flag in 3 background colors which represents sunrise. daytime and sunset. I remember a lot of good memories standing on a flag ceremony since I have started school. A flag for me-will always symbolizes nationalism, solidarity, harmony, peace and love for country. Below is a brief history of the filipino flag.
The Filipino flag has an interesting story. It was made in Hongkong by Mrs. Marcela de Agoncillo, wife of Don Felipe Agoncillo.
During his exile in Hongkong, General Aguinaldo designed the flag as it looks today. Mrs. Marcela de Agoncillo sewed it with the help of her daughter Lorenza and Mrs. Josefina Herbosa de Natividad(niece of Dr. Jose Rizal). It was made of silk with a white triangle at the left containing a sunburst of eight rays at the center, a five pointed star at each angle of the triangle, an upper stripe of dark blue, and a lower stripe of red. The white triangle stands for equality; the upper blue stripe for peace, truth and justice; and the lower red stripe for patriotism and valor. The sunburst of eight rays inside the triangle represented the first eight provinces that took up arms against Spain. The three stars symbolized Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
The flag which Mrs. Agoncillo made in Hongkong was taken to the Philippines by General Aguinaldo. It was hoisted officially at Kawit on June 12, 1898, in connection with the proclamation of Philippine independence. From that date, it has served as the National Flag of the Filipinos. The Philippines: A Unique Nation. Dr. Sonia M. Zaide
For-ang aking hardin- are illustrations of swans in the lake. They have become my favorite scenery everytime I go to the waterfront in the park some meters away where I live. It makes me get in touch with my feelings surrounded by the beauty of nature.
For-meaningful undertakings are some images of people in boats floating or sailing in the water going out in the sea. It represents my feelings about people and life and how we experience the changes in the world. I would like to elaborate or rather enhanced this drawing later on when I have the time.

Hey! Mr. Postman....
I am getting used to seeing the postman in my doorsteps. I feel so blessed today. I received this package from Japan. Richi have send me a box full of goodies. I don’t know how to explain this but everytime I will run out the things I am using- for example a lipstick that a package will arrived in my doorsteps. Last night, I have thrown away my baking gloves because I realized it has a hole when I was taking out the chicken from the oven. I got a little burn in my finger and was so angry I threw it right away. This morning I got a new one from Richi. My dear friend-I love each one of them! Here are the pictures.
I have lighted this so smelly-good and unique incense together with the Advent candles and other candles while we were eating dinner. Cozy!

surprises
I am recovering from my sore throat, colds and muscle pain at home today, when someboday knocked at the door. I panicked because I am still in my pajamas and have not combed my hair. But I went near the door and coughed a lot and said "just a minute" and he answered back "Post". I hurried and put on my jacket and opened the door and he was like going away already like I was contagious and handed the package with a stretched hands. And boy, I was so surprised to find these christmas gifts from my bestfriend in Singapore. Thank you Myla! I like it so much!
